2012 Competitor Lineup

We are thrilled to announce our North America lineup for the 2012 Varsity Vocals A Cappella Championship!

This was a record year for applications across the United States, and in order to accommodate as many great groups as possible, we had to get creative with the boundaries of the US regions for ICCA. Please note that Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, DC, are still all part of the South region. Also, while most of New York state is part of the Mid-Atlantic region, the eastern part of New York (drawing a line down from Albany) including New York City is part of the Northeast region. In addition, our Mid-West region had unprecedented number of qualified entries that we added a fifth quarterfinal and every show in this region is filled to absolute capacity with 10 groups at each event!

With such an overwhelming response we do regret that we are not able to accommodate every group that applies. If your group's name doesn't appear here, we hope you will still join us in the audience at our events this season. Please use this opportunity to learn from the community and build on the strong foundation you've already started. We hope to hear from you again next season.

We do still have limited availability for additional groups in the ICHSA high school tournament. For details about how to get involved, contact us.

We will be placing competitors into the first round of competition as soon as possible.
