Your 2023 ICCA Lineup - Varsity Vocals

Our 27th ICCA season launches in January, and we can’t wait to see what our competitors will bring to the stage! This year, there are more than 6,000 performers in 400+ groups from Universities across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom competing in our tournament. We are thrilled to see talent returning to ICCA in such great numbers, and we are humbled to provide this experience for so many once again.

Nine regions will comprise this year’s ICCA tournament: Central, Great Lakes, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, South, Southwest, West and United Kingdom. All regions will have our traditional Quarterfinal/Semifinal structure.

Events will begin in mid-January and continue through late March. Tickets for most quarterfinal and semifinal rounds will go on sale on December 1. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for a reminder! Please remember that many events do sell out in advance, so we recommend ordering tickets in advance of the show.

Any group that chooses to withdraw from the ICCA by December 1, 2023 will be refunded their full entry fee. Otherwise, we will assume you’ve accepted your invitation to compete at your assigned event.

Central, Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Northeast, South & West: 5 Quarterfinals, top 2 advance to semifinals, semifinal winner to finals.

Southwest & United Kingdom: 4 Live Quarterfinals & 1 Virtual wildcard quarterfinal, top 2 advance to semifinals & 3rd and 4th place to a quarterfinal wildcard (top 2 from quarterfinal wildcard to semifinal), semifinal winner to finals.

Finals Wildcard: All 2nd & 3rd place groups from each semifinal will be eligible to apply to the wildcard round, where the top group will advance to the ICCA Finals at The Town Hall in New York City!
